Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrival & Transfer:
Meet and assist service upon arrival at Cairo International Airport. Private transfer by air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel for check-in and leisure. Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids, GEM & Sleeper Train to Aswan
Giza Plateau Tour:
After breakfast, visit the Giza Pyramids (Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure), the Great Sphinx, and Khafre’s Valley Temple.
Grand Egyptian Museum & Lunch:
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before exploring the Grand Egyptian Museum and its royal artifact collections.
Sleeper Train to Aswan:
In the evening, transfer to Cairo Railway Station to board the overnight sleeper train to Aswan with dinner served onboard.
Day 3: Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple & Cruise Embarkation
Aswan Sightseeing:
Arrive in Aswan, meet your guide, and visit the Aswan High Dam and the island temple of Philae dedicated to Isis.
Embarkation & Leisure:
Check in aboard your 5-star Nile cruise, enjoy lunch, relax, and savor dinner onboard. Overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 4: Kom Ombo Temple & Sailing to Edfu
Kom Ombo Visit:
Enjoy breakfast onboard while sailing. Visit the unique double temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to Sobek and Horus.
Sailing & Galabia Party:
Continue sailing toward Edfu while enjoying lunch and afternoon tea. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Galabia party and dinner onboard. Overnight stay in Edfu.
Optional Excursion:
Early morning optional road trip excursion to the Abu Simbel Temples is available upon request.
Day 5: Edfu Temple, Sailing to Luxor & Luxor Temple
Edfu Temple Tour:
After breakfast, visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu via a private vehicle.
Sailing & Luxor Temple:
Return to the cruise ship for lunch while sailing toward Luxor. Upon arrival, visit the impressive Luxor Temple on the East Bank.
Evening:
Dinner onboard followed by evening entertainment. Overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 6: Luxor West Bank, Karnak Temple & Sleeper Train to Cairo
West & East Bank Tours:
Check out after breakfast to explore the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Continue to the East Bank to tour the massive Karnak Temple Complex.
Sleeper Train to Cairo:
Transfer to Luxor Railway Station in the evening to board the overnight sleeper train back to Cairo with dinner served onboard.
Optional Hot Air Balloon:
Optional early morning sunrise hot air balloon flight over Luxor’s West Bank is available upon request.
Day 7: Arrival in Cairo & Final Departure
Arrival & Airport Transfer:
Wake up to breakfast onboard as the train arrives in Cairo. Transfer directly to Cairo International Airport for your final departure flight.
